This is the deal between you and LEO Robotics. Using the site means you accept it. It is written to be read, not to be got past.
1. What you are agreeing to do
You film a task from your own point of view and submit the clip against a task brief. You must be 18 or over, and you must have the right to film everything in frame.
2. What you promise about each clip
- You shot it yourself, for this programme.
- It is not taken from anywhere else, and not generated.
- No other person appears in it without being out of frame.
- You are not filming somewhere you are not allowed to film.
- Nothing confidential, and nobody else’s private information.
A clip that breaks any of these is rejected. If we find out after payment, we can stop paying that wallet and remove the footage.
3. Who owns the footage
You keep ownership of your clip. By submitting it you give LEO Robotics a permanent, worldwide, paid up licence to store it, review it, use it as robot training data, and license it onward for that purpose. You keep the right to use your own footage however else you like.
Showing your clip on this site is separate and needs the consent box you tick at submission. Without that box, the clip is never shown publicly, whatever we do with it as training data.
4. Review
Every clip is watched by a person against the task brief and the capture standard on the home page. Review decides whether a clip is approved, and review can reject a clip for any reason that the standard covers. There is no appeal, but if you think a rejection is wrong, write to us and we will look again.
5. Payment
- Amounts are set per task and scale with clip length. The figure shown when you submit is the figure that is paid.
- Each task has a pool and a per wallet limit. When a pool is empty, that task stops accepting clips.
- Payment goes to the wallet that submitted the clip, in tokenized stock on Robinhood Chain, after approval.
- Amounts are priced in USD and settled in the token. What the token is worth later is not fixed by us, and can fall.
- Give a wrong or unreachable address and the payment cannot be recovered. Check it before you submit.
6. This is not investment advice
Tokenized stock is an investment asset. Its value can fall as well as rise, and you could end up with less than the USD figure you were shown at submission. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and you take that risk when you choose to be paid this way.
7. What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that a task will still be open when you get to it, or that any particular clip will be approved. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here removes rights you have by law where you live.
8. Ending it
You can stop at any time; there is nothing to cancel. We can stop accepting clips from a wallet that breaks these terms. Clips already approved are still paid.
9. Changes
If these terms change, the date on this sheet changes. Clips already submitted are governed by the terms as they stood when you submitted.
