LEO Robotics runs on as little personal data as a paying service can. There is no account, no password and no email address. What follows is the whole of it, in the order it reaches us.
What we hold
- Your wallet address
- The public address you connect. It is how we tell one contributor from another, how we apply per wallet limits, and where settlement is sent. We never ask for, receive or store a private key or a seed phrase, and nobody at LEO Robotics can move funds out of your wallet.
- The clips you submit
- The video file itself, plus a thumbnail, its length in seconds, its size, the task it was filmed for, the title and description you wrote, and whether it came from the in browser camera or your file picker.
- The state of each clip
- Whether it is pending, approved, rejected or paid, when it was submitted, when it was paid, the amount in USD, and the transaction hash of the payment once it is on chain.
- Whether you allowed public use
- A single yes or no, recorded per clip, from the box you tick when you submit. A clip is only ever shown on this site if you said yes and an editor also chose it.
What we do not hold
- No name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- No password, because there is nothing to log in to.
- No private keys, seed phrases or payment card details.
- No advertising profile, and no sale of anything to anyone.
What the footage is used for
Approved clips become training data for robot manipulation models. That is the whole business: the footage is the product. Clips may be used to train models ourselves and may be licensed to others for the same purpose. A clip you did not consent to show publicly still stays out of this site and out of any public showcase.
Because of that, please film only your own space. Keep other people out of frame, and keep documents, screens, letters and anything carrying an address or account number out of shot. Review rejects clips that carry them.
Where it is kept
Clip files and their records are stored with Supabase, and the site runs on Vercel. Payments are ordinary transactions on a public blockchain, which means the amount, your address and the timestamp are visible to anyone, permanently, and we cannot remove them. That is true of every on chain payment, not just ours, and it is worth understanding before you connect a wallet.
How long it is kept
Approved clips are kept for as long as they are useful as training data. Rejected clips and their files are removed once you have been told why. Payment records are kept because we have to be able to show what was paid and when.
Removing your data
Ask us on the contact page, from the wallet that submitted the clip, and we will delete the clip and its file. Two honest limits: a payment that has already settled cannot be removed from the blockchain, and a clip already used in a trained model cannot be pulled back out of that model, though we will stop using it going forward.
Children
This is not for anyone under 18, and clips must not contain children.
Changes
If this text changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this sheet changes with it.
